Mariah Aguiar, 45
Aguiar, a photographer of the New York music scene beginning in the 1970s, died June 29, 2005 of an apparent heart attack. Aguiar worked as an editor at several agencies, including as general manager and assignment editor for Ipol, Inc.
Jocelyne Benzakin, 59
Through her agency JB Pictures in New York City, Benzakin was known for cultivating new talent. She shepherded the careers of Maggie Steber, Marc Asnin, Mark Peterson and others. She died March 31, 2005 after being diagnosed with emphysema.
Bob Carlos Clarke, 56
CIarke's sexually charged fashion and glamour photos appeared in provocative advertisements and gallery exhibitions. He died March 25 in London.
Jerry Cooke, 84
After shooting for LIFE and other Time Inc. magazines, Cooke joined Sports Illustrated in its early days and went on to shoot 47 Sl covers. He eventually became director of photography at SI. He was also a founding member of the American Society of Media Photographers. He died of cancer Oct. 27, 2005.
Rick Corrales, 48
A Los Angeles Times photographer from 1981 to 1995, Corrales was also an inventor. He developed cameras...
