Commuting to New York, whether for business or pleasure, has more than its share of ups and downs. Now, with the opening of Metrazur, a new elegant restaurant at Grand, Central Station, the "ups" list has grown a bit longer.
One of the grandest of the country's old railroad stations, Grand Central has undergone a five-year restoration to restore it to its former glory. With its newly gilded Beaux Arts Main Concourse, glittering chandeliers, sky ceiling and majestic staircase, the bustling station offers as well a new, elegant restaurant located on the East Balcony overlooking the Main Concourse.
Metrazur, named after a commuter train that runs along the Mediterranean's Cote d'Azur, is a sleek American Brasserie - a stylish reflection of the glamour of Grand Central's opulent past.
The Concept
