International production chief to depart after eight years

Michael Edelstein is to step down from NBC Universal International Television Production after an eight-year spell as its president.

The exec, who relocated from LA to take the role in 2010, intends to pause before making his next career move. He will stay in post until the end of the year and NBC Universal is understood to have begun a recruitment process to replace him.
