GE Water & Process Technologies has announced the construction of a new chemical manufacturing facility in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The new 7,500-m 2 chemical blending plant will bring over 10,000 tons of new chemical production capabilities, a 1,150-m 2 chemical and equipment storage expansion, and expedited customer response times. The Dammam facility will also include a GE water treatment laboratory and commercial office space. Operation is scheduled to commence in late 2007.
