MILLENNIUM PARTNERS, the folks who almost single-handedly transformed the Lincoln Square corridor, will open the doors of their first "residential hotel" on Dec. 1.
Dubbed the Phillips Club, the extended-stay hotel will occupy four floors of the company's 26-story Grand Millennium condominium development located at 1965 Broadway at 67th Street. The new club will have a separate entrance and offer units that range from an overgrown hotel room--priced at a minimum $4,950 a month off-season--to a massive three-bedroom suite--renting for a maximum $18,700 a month in peak season.
Success in condo market
The theory is simple: Millennium figures that its success in developing luxury, family-style condominiums will apply equally to putting up such high-end, long-stay hotels.
