This reviewer enjoyed reading all the 2,500 pages of the proceedings of the Mineral Processing Plant Design, Practice and Control Symposium held Oct. 20-24 in Vancouver, B.C. The symposium was sponsored by SME and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum. The proceedings editors included Andrew L. Mular, Doug N. Halbe and Derek J. Barratt. They performed a remarkable feat in editing and organizing the contents of the two volumes so they could be printed early in 2003.
