Brokers expect prices for United Kingdom-based buyers of insurance to remain fairly stable over the next 12 months, according to a survey by Lloyd's of London.
Lloyd's on Friday released results of a survey of 117 U.K. insurance brokers, which was taken at the annual British Insurance Brokers' Assn. conference in March. Respondents were questioned about what they believed would happen to insurance rates in several different lines of business during the next year.
Almost one-third-31%-of brokers questioned said they thought rates would fall by 1% to 9% during the year, while 28% expected no change in rates. One-quarter of the...
