I've just replaced my desktop mouse. "Big deal," you answer. "I change the oil in my car every 3,000 miles. So what?" I'll admit that the world of mice (mouses?) isn't usually that interesting. The margin on the devices hovers around zero, and the value-add to date has been minimal-at most, a suggestion from you to use something that's ergonomic.
Well, Gyration Inc. has changed that. Gyration previously gained renown in the high-tech industry by creating drastically improved, and incredibly small, gyroscopes. The company has now taken that technology and applied it to the lowly mouse, and the results are startling.
