There will be a dual celebration on November 6 when Runner's World turns 50 and the five-borough New York Marathon turns 40. "We will have a big event prior to what we call our 'super bowl,'" says RW editor-in-chief David Willey, "because many of the 50,000 competitors from around the world are our readers. The November issue will be a 'blowout.'"
