The new TGA multi-axle tipper has torque to spare and a chassis that'll handle the worst conditions
As the replacement for the hardy F2000, MAN's latest TGA muckaway tipper is likely to attract the eye of tipper fleet buyers, provided it lives up to its predecessor's tough reputation in service.
That many multi-axle tipper operators prefer operational simplicity is fairly evident consider Hino's success over the past year - so the EGR-equipped MAN may already have one factor in its favour.
The TGA 35 Series off-roader's attractions also include a new heavy-duty 8mm thick chassis frame (against 7mm of its aggregate hauling stablemate), straight beam front axles, a hub reduction rear bogie on inverted steel springs, a steel front bumper as standard and the D20 engine available at 360,400 or 440hp.
