In an effort to create a more diverse work force and train future health care leaders, Nassau University Medical Center has hired three women from around the nation through a new diversity fellowship program.
The hospital in East Meadow owned by NuHealth hired them for one year through a new Minority Administrative Fellowship Program. The positions are funded through NuHealth's operating budget.
NuHealth CEO Arthur A. Gianelli said the three will work with senior-level management in operations, finance, quality management and administration.
