NCR Corp. (NCR) last week boosted its service offerings by acquiring the leading developer of network management software for automated teller machines.
The Dayton, Ohio-based ATM maker bought Gasper Corp. for an undisclosed price. Gasper will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of NCR and maintain its current headquarters in Dayton.
"Gasper provides a set of software products that help banks manage their ATM networks and monitor the status of ATMs," says William Bray of NCR.
