Englewood-based New Era of Networks Inc. further expanded its e-business capabilities in 1999 by gobbling up six companies.

In April of last year, the company announced it would purchase privately held VIE Systems of New Jersey and Switzerland-based SLI International AG.
VIE brings NEON Enterprise Application Integration services a strong presence in travel and transportation, financial services and retail markets. SLI provides worldwide SAP R/3 implementation, training, support and business consulting services.
