As Kansas Attorney General-elect Phill Kline prepares to step onto a moving train, it appears that he will stay on the same track.
As Kline prepared to take office Jan. 13, questions remained concerning what tack the typically opinionated Johnson County Republican would take regarding Health Midwest's proposed $1.125 billion sale to Nashville-based HCA Inc.
In an interview with The Business Journal, Kline said the Health Midwest board should be removed. This position mirrors that of his predecessor, Carla Stovall, who also has called for a receiver to handle the sale.
