System monitors H 2 Sand water vapor
The WaSul system is claimed to continuously and automatically monitor hydrogen-sulfide (H 2 S) or water-vapor concentration. It can monitor each separately or both simultaneously in up to four different gas streams in parallel. The system's photoacoustic measurement technique is a sensitive, yet robust optical spectroscopic method. A telecommunication-type diode laser, used as a light source, ensures complete selectivity of measurements. Measured concentration for both contaminants ranges from the sub-ppm to the percentage range.
The system reportedly provides reliable, trouble-free, continuous and unattended operation. Performance is not affected by contaminants (particulate matter, liquid droplets, hydrates, etc.) in the measured gases. Hilase Ltd.

Multivariable flowmeter
The OPTISWIRL 4070 C flowmeter combines a vortex flow sensor with built-in temperature compensation and optionally available integrated pressure in a two-wire configuration. It is said to accurately measure standard volumetric and mass flow of conductive and nonconductive liquids, gases and vapors, even in applications that are prone to pressure and temperature fluctuations.
The flowmeter's nonwearing, fully welded stainless-steel structure is resistant to corrosion, high pressures and temperatures. An intelligent signal processing system allows for stable flow readings while eliminating noise and...
