CREDIT CARD customers of consumer finance company Dubai First can now save up for vouchers to pay for flights on the expanding network of the city's low-cost carrier flydubai.The voucher value will be based on a customer's accumulated reward points, the companies said in a statement.The promotion is available to holders of Silver, Gold, Platinum and Business cards issued by Dubai First.The deal provides access to flydubai's rapidly-growing network across the GCC, Middle East, Asia and central and eastern Europe., which was further extended last month. Flights to the airline's 50th destination, the Macedonian capital Skopje, were launched last month and is part of a concerted push for the carrier into Europe. Skopje becomes flydubai's 15th European passenger route, and is the first direct connection of any Gulf-based airline to Macedonia, according to the airline.The service is expected to boost both trade and tourism between the UAE and Macedonia.Initially, the route is served twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays, with the possibility of an additional service every week in future depending on demand, the airline said. Return fares from Dubai to Skopje start at Dhs2,380 ($648) all inclusive, according to flydubai.
