ITHACA - A new, four-story, 66-room Hampton Inn will be built at 337 Elmira Road in Ithaca this winter. The 39,000-square-foot building is scheduled for completion in December. LNH Hospitality, Inc. commissioned the construction, to be done by the Hayner Hoyt Corporation headquartered at 1820 LeMoyne Ave. in Syracuse. Jagat P. Sharma of Ithaca designed the project, Raymond A. DiPasquale is the structural consultant, and BESE Engineering of South Carolina will serve as the project's engineers.
"We are familiar with the architect that designed the project," Hayner Hoyt President Gary Thurston says. "We got in touch with Jagat Sharma and got involved."
The new hotel will feature an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, free break fast bar, and high-speed Internet access for all guests. Construction began...
