TROY, MICH. - Kmart's launch of its first national image advertising campaign in three years marks the culmination of its conversion to Big K format, which concludes this month.
In the words of Larry David, vp of advertising, the campaign is "the ultimate vision of what we intend Big Kmart to be."
The new spots feature country stars Wynonna and Naomi Judd singing an original song, "Changing for the Better," composed for Kmart. The ads. produced MTVstyle, premiered 12 days ago during the CBS Country Music Association Awards telecast and will continue through the holidays and into 2000.
