To help GO-EXPO participants keep abreast of oilpatch software developments, show organizers created a separate area for petroleum software this year. IT exhibitors at the show, June 7 to 9 at Calgary's Stampede Grounds, will be featuring everything from innovative field invoicing systems aimed at service companies to complex construction management tools for oilsands project owners.
In the reservoir simulation world, Computer Modelling Group Ltd. is known for its thermal simulation programs. Building on its understanding of reservoir physics, Computer Modelling is marketing a full suite of enhanced recovery software. Enhanced coalbed methane stimulation using carbon dioxide or flue gas, CO2 injection into regular oil reservoirs, thermal stimulation and black oil stimulation can now be mapped with this software.
