Before the snow melts in New England and the weather in Arizona becomes unbearably hot, many enterprise Java developers will have their hands on the first round of Java IDEs built specifically for Java 2, Enterprise Edition and associated technologies like EJB; 1. 1 and JSP.
Symantec's Visual Cafe 4 Enterprise Edition and Inprise's JBuilder 3 Enterprise will be among the first batch of IDEs expected to be in mass circulation by the end of March. Both products run on Solaris and Windows NT, and, much to the delight of developers trying their hand at JSP, both offer JSP debugging.
