The minimum wage in New Zealand will rise by 50 cents to $15.75 (Pounds 9.03) an hour from 1 April 2017.
The starting-out and training hourly minimum wage rate will remain at 80% of the adult minimum wage, rising from $12.10 (Pounds 7.01) an hour to $12.60 (Pounds 7.30) an hour in April 2017.
