Chasing Away Paper
A recent survey of 100 partners at firms ranging in size from five to more than 100 employees, found:
75% of firms have a paperless strategy in place.
23% expect to have a paperless strategy in place within three years.
In regards to specific tools used to help the move to paperless:
83% of respondents use multiple monitors.
72% indicated they use document management systems.
47% use scanning tools to organize their documents or electronically input information on tax returns.
21% use client portals.
