Trinity Telecommunications LLC, an authorized Nextel Partners Inc. representative, doubled the size of its headquarters last month when it moved from office space at 4175 Westport Road to a combined retail/office location at 2610 Chamberlain Lane, said co-owner Jeff Daup.
The recent move was necessary because "we were just busting at the seams," Daup said.
Trinity Telecommunications leased about 3,500 square feet in a new strip shopping center, Anchorage Landmark Shopping Center, Daup said.
Daup and partner Debbi Lloyd founded Trinity Telecommunications in June 1999. Both Daup and Lloyd worked for other wireless carriers in Ohio before starting the Nextel venture there.
In February 2000, the pair moved to Louisville to help launch Nextel service in this area.
