The kit

It is easy to understand that a wireless network is not as secure as its wired counterpart, because radio waves are constantly being broadcast by the hardware.
But, while I would avoid using a wireless connection on our EMIS clinical system, I have fewer qualms about using this solution at home as the advantages far outweigh the potential disadvantages.
The security aspect may be there, but in a home environment a breach is much less likely. A hacker needs time and considerable network traffic to sift out information needed to break in, and the average home network is not busy enough...
