MCA FEE , NET WORK Associates' busineSS division, unveiled WebShield for Nokia Appliance, integrating McAfee's Dr. Solomon antivirus software with Nokia's IP400 Network Application platform.
The combination will provide a virus-- scanning layer of protection between the enterprise firewall perimeter and the Internet gateway, said Joe Gottlieb, vice president of product management for Mountain View, Calif.-based Nokia Internet Communications.
