Orem, Utah-based Novell Inc. is putting to beta testing its Novell Workstation Manager, which is designed to reduce network administration time, expenditures and total desktop ownership costs. Workstation Manager is a new software utility for integrating Microsoft Windows NT 3.51 and 4.0 Workstations into business networks and centrally managing them through Novell Directory Services (NDS). "Our installed base can now deploy NT workstations across organizations while preserving the management and cost advantages of NDS and their Novell network infrastructure," says William Donohoo, senior director of marketing at Novell." The Novell Workstation Manager beta software is available for free at Novell's World Wide Web site at http://support. novell.com/home/pubbeta. (Jason Werner, Novell, 801/861-4009.)
