Chipmaker Nvidia Corp., one of Silicon Valley's fastest-growing public companies, will be moving its headquarters into a 500,000-square-foot Santa Clara campus planned by Sobrato Development Cos.
The company, which makes 3-D graphic chips for personal computers, has signed a lease with Sobrato, which moved forward with die campus without a tenant (The Business Journal, July 23).
Sobrato has the footings installed for two of the four buildings it will construct at 2777 San Tomas Expwy., where it intersects with Walsh Avenue.
Nvidia's lease is for 10 years and nine months with multiple options, according to Phil Taylor, senior vice president for Sobrato.
Sherman Chan, Mike Benevento and George Reilly of CPS, The Commercial Property Services Co. represented Nvidia. Sobrato represented itself.
