Worldwide Computer Products News-8 February 2001-Obtree introduces ASP-based content management system (C)1995-2001 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com Obtree Technologies UK Ltd, a subsidiary of Swiss-based Obtree Technologies, has launched its Obtree C3 ASP content management software. The product, which is offered through Obtree's application service provider (ASP) partners, is designed to allow companies with a small web presence - a web site with up to 200 pages - to manage their own web sites instead of having to outsource the structuring and updating to specialists. Access to the system takes place via the web browser on a password-protected log-in page. This initiates the browser-based content management system, allowing the user to add content.
