Old Mutual UK specialist equity manager Bradbury to retire as new co-manager Service prepares to take on lead role

Old Mutual Global Investors' UK Specialist Equity Fund manager Ashton Bradbury is to retire from the hedge fund industry at the end of this year.

Bradbury has been with Old Mutual for 14 years, holding the lead manager role for the firm's long-running low-risk, low-net UK specialist equity strategy. He will step down at the end of 2014 to pursue personal interests outside of financial markets.

Tim Service, who has been deputy manager of the Old Mutual UK Specialist Equity Fund for the last two years, will become the strategy's co-manager until the end of the year, when he will then take over the role of lead manager from Bradbury.
