Olympus America Inc., Digital & Imaging Systems Group, Melville, N.Y., a consumer digital camera manufacturer, has introduced a new line of digital cameras, the D-220L and D- 320L, which succeed the Olympus D-200L and D-300L digital cameras, winners of the unprecedented number of 27 industry awards in 30 weeks.
The Olympus D-220L and D-320L continue the Olympus winning tradition of high-quality digital cameras, with resolutions of 640 x 480 for the D-220L and 1024 x 768 for the D-320L, and add the two most-often requested features: removable media and video out. The D- 220L and D-320L now also have a smaller, lighter-weight, stylish ergonomic design, and a lower price than their predecessors.
Olympus High-Quality Images
Olympus digital cameras are well-known for exceptional high- quality images. Images created with Olympus digital cameras produce image quality equivalent or better than digital cameras with higher resolution. This is achieved by the Olympus high-quality optics, including a five element all glass aspherical F2.8 autofocus lens, and low compression ratios, resulting in sharp images and vibrant true-color quality.
No Computer Needed
The new Olympus digital cameras can be used with or without a computer. The D-220L and D-320L feature video out for easy viewing of photos on a TV set instead of individual viewing on an LCD or with a print. The entire family can view the photos without the need of a computer.
