The Indian partners in the massive Oman-India Fertilizer Company (Omifco) urea complex - the Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative (Iffco) and the Krishak Bharati Cooperative (Kribhco) - have each signed agreements to hand over their respective shares of the financing for the project. With a 2:1 debt/equity ratio and each Indian partner taking a 25% stake, each company's contribution is $80m. The remaining 50% will come from the Oman Oil Co. Omifco will operate two ammonia-- urea trains, with a total granular urea capacity of 1.67m t/a.
