Chris Fenwick has become head of Collingwood School in Sutton, 40 years after leaving there as a pupil. Aged 15, he joined the Royal Navy as a chef before returning to the UK in his mid-20s. At university, Mr Fenwick obtained a BA and MA in history. He became head of history and deputy head of a girls boarding school in the Isle of Wight before running his own educational consultancy. He was head of Hurworth House School in Darlington, Country Durham.
Judy McBlaine has become head of Stanchester Community School in Somerset, where she will also be teaching Year 11 maths.
