They've just bagged their first job in advertising, at Wieden + Kennedy's London office, but Sarah Ginn and Mandy Smith only met for the first time just over a year ago. They were introduced to each other by ex-Saatchi creative director, Paul Arden, who had set student projects for both of them, albeit at different colleges: Ginn studied graphic design at Kingston University while Smith, at Central St Martins, specialised in Advertising for the second and third year of her graphic design course.
It was Arden who set Ginn the task of producing "nude images that shock", the results of which were featured in CR's Photography Annual last year. "Paul paired us up to work with him on a More4 documentary in September last year," recalls...
