OUT OF THE BOX CANON OPTURA 60
When seeking a camcorder, the main goal is to find a camera that will do the job and not cost a bundle. Canon's Optura 60 is a worthy contender to consider.
Design-wise, this unit is compact, but not so small that it's uncomfortable to use the controls. The majority of the controls are found under the 2.5-inch LCD screen. Oddly enough, the menu and setting controls are just behind the LCD screen so you can't see the screen while operating the menu wheel behind it, unless you flip the LCD screen.
