Mark Latshaw is tired of waiting for someone else to solve his parking needs.
So the owner of the former Kansas City Club will seek tax increment financing to build a parking garage of his own. The Kansas City TIF Commission will consider Latshaw's request on Sept. 10.
Latshaw said he will build on a surface lot immediately west of the club building at 1228 Baltimore Ave. because he couldn't reach a deal to use a garage planned by owners of the Power & Light Building.
