After four months, both external and internal work at the Peery Hotel is expected to be complete July 16, reflecting upgrades of more than $200,000 per room.
Greenwood Construction has Put a foreman on each floor running full crews in 10-hour day shifts in order to complete the work by this Friday, said John Sears, general manager of the hotel.
"Everything has been replaced," Sears said of the renovation.
The lobby area has been completely redecorated with plush, richly upholstered chairs and sofas, as well as replicas of the hotel's original lights and chandelier. The Peery's rooms have been completely renovated and refurbished.
