PEO GCS utilizing Future Fighting Vehicle work in S&T efforts

Abstract

The Army had awarded two contracts, one to BAE Systems and one to General Dynamics Land Systems, to develop initial concept work for the FFV; acquisition decisions for the program were later delayed by eight years in order to focus on near-term capability gaps. The Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center is now using input from the FFV team to help inform the service's Next Generation Combat Vehicle prototype.
