* CHARLES J. "CHUCK" POWERS of Flowserve Corp. (Irving, Texas) has been appointed to the Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA) Presidents Council. Ihe purpose of the Presidents Council is to provide a forum for seniorlevel executives of WWEMA full-member companies to address industry-wide issues. Powers, a recognized water resource pump expert, has been with Flowserve and its heritage companies, Ingersoll Rand and IDP, since 1977. He currently is Global Business Director, Water Resources Market.
