Rexel Inc. (Dallas): Mark Daniel is now senior vice president and general manager, with overall leadership responsibility for the U.S. organization. Daniel will oversee "the continuing development of customer-focused support initiatives to accelerate the business' growth and strengthen Rexel Inc.'s position as a premier U.S. electrical distributor," the company said. Daniel has held several leadership positions in Rexel Inc. and IESC, most recently as division sales president for Rexel, Inc., with responsibility for the South East Division field sales operations, including all branch operations, customer relations and division staff. He has also served as vice president sales and North East Division president for Rexel Inc. and as vice president New Business Development for IESC, with responsibility for the company's U.S. acquisition strategy.
USESI (Exton, Pa.): Randy Eddy, a regional vice president for Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED), Westlake Village, Calif., will replace Richard Worthy as USESI's senior executive, effective Nov. 1. Worthy built USESI over the past four years into a major player in the eastern U.S. through a series of acquisitions and funding from Michael Dell's MSD, a venture capital firm. He sold USESI to CED in 2007 and is reportedly leaving the company amicably.
Crescent Electric Supply Co. (East Dubuque, Ill.): Dennis DeSousa, formerly senior V.P. of U.S. business for Graybar Electric Co., St. Louis, has joined Crescent Electric Supply as senior V.P. of business development. In his new role, DeSousa will focus on growing Crescent's market share through targeted acquisitions and organic growth strategies.
