DOWNTOWN-The PNC Financial Service Group Inc. said Wednesday its directors and senior management have adopted a new statement of principles and a strengthened code of conduct in the wake of a settlement with regulators over accounting irregularities.
PNC said the statement of principles and the code of conduct were designed to set "high standards of corporate ethical responsibilities for all employees." The statement of principles was developed in conjunction with consultants PNC hired as part of its settlement.
