Nancy Brinker, Founder of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, to Address Opening Session
Ambassador Nancy G. Brinker. founder of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, will bring her message of "the power of one" - the ability of every individual to make a difference in his or her community, company, country, and the world - to the opening session of the 2010 ASHA Convention.
Named one of TIME magazine's "100 Most Influential People" in 200S. she served as U.S. ambassador to the Republic of Hungary from 2001 to 2003 and as U.S. chief of protocol from 2007 to 2009.
Ambassador Brinker is regarded as the leader of the global breast cancer movement. Her journey began with a promise to her dying sister. Susan G.
