Voltage Regulation and Power Distribution System
Pulizzi Engineering's VR120-15 voltage regulation and power distribution system monitors and constantly stabilizes AC power. It accepts an input range of 97V AC to 148V AC, and it provides processor controlled, zero-crossing circuitry for low EMI - 120V AC output (±5V). Other standard features include over-voltage protection, EMI/RFI filtering of the power output to equipment, quiet internal fan cooling system and circuitry to monitor potential over-temperature conditions. This rugged, black, all steel rack-mounted device measures 1.75" high (IU), 19". TheVR120-15 provides nine fully regulated 120V AC/ISA outlets (NEMA 5-15R).

Miniature Power Supply Gives Robots Freedom to Roam
Mini-box.com has announced the picoPSU, said to be the world's smallest PC power supply. Measuring 31 mm × 45 mm × 20 mm, the unit provides the same power as standard power supplies, enabling design of smaller PCs and smart appliances and giving devices such as robots less weight and mass to bear for longer periods of autonomous operation, according to the company. Using patent pending HyperWatt(TM) technologies, the picoPSU-120 provides a cool, silent, 120W of power for small PC designs using a single 12V power source. The picoPSU is fully ATX compliant.
