Intuit® (Mountain View, Calif.) provides a wide variety of QuickBooks®related software, support, and training options to accountants through its QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program. According to Rich Walker, CPA and Director of Intuit's Accountant and Advisor Relations, "Around 80 percent of America's 22 million small businesses nationwide use an accountant. And since QuickBooks is the #1 best-selling small business financial software, chances are many, if not most, accounting professionals' small business clients use QuickBooks, too."
Walker adds, "It makes good business sense for accountants to get to know QuickBooks products inside and out. That's where the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program comes in. It provides the accountant with the software, support, training, information, and resources needed to support small businesses that use QuickBooks financial software. When the accountant completes the Certification test, the potential can attract new clients."
