FORT WORTH, TExAs - Following the trend of putting research products online, Practitioners Publishing Co. has migrated its entire CD-ROM-based content product line from Windows 3.1 to Windows 95, NT or higher.
The publisher is also seeking to take advantage of the Folio search engine, which requires Windows 95 or higher and is more advanced than the Windows 3.1 compatible World View engine that PPC used before the conversion this fall. PPC didn't initially choose Folio before the release of version 4.1 because of problems with graphics that have since been remedied.
