DOES GOOD SECURITY CONFLICT WITH THE NEED FOR WIDER DATA ACCESS?
THIS WEEK'S TERRIFIC cover story about one of the hot issues in security - ID management - highlights an important paradox in today's IT.
On the one hand, companies must do a better job of protecting personal and corporate data they store. The market demands it (see "Identity Management: Technology of Trust," page 54).
