Richard Quinn earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ., in 1978 and has been working in the employee benefits area at PSE&G since 1961, holding positions such as director of benefits planning and services and general manager of compensation and benefits before being named in 1994 to his current title of director of performance and rewards. Quinn oversees the utility's $745 million, 10,165-life 401(k) plans for managers and union employees. He is a member of the Compensation and Benefits Committee of the Edison Electric Institute, serves as chairman of the Human Resources Committee of The American Gas Association and is a member of the Executive Compensation Council of the Conference Board.
In his spare time, Quinn is a freelance writer for Employee Benefit News and several Thompson Publishing Group trade publications on benefits and compensation. He lives in Verona, N.J., with his wife, Connie. He has four children: Rick, 27; Chris, 26; Caryn, 23; and Craig, 22. "We have had...
