If you are watching the Phoenix Suns - and their winning ways this season -you may see Steve Pidgeon sitting near or next to new owner Robert Sarver.
Pidgeon is a partner with heavy-hitting Phoenix law firm Snell & Wilmer and represented the Sarver-led investment group that bought the Suns from Jerry Colangelo earlier this year for $402 million.
The Suns deal fits well into Pidgeon's portfolio of corporate financing deals. The Boston native spends long hours on such major transactions, but also is a huge sports fan with allegiances to the Boston Red Sox, University of Miami Hurricanes and the Suns.
The Phoenix attorney recently sat down with Business Journal reporter Mike Sunnucks at a downtown Phoenix restaurant to discuss the Suns transaction, his law practice and a much-cherished Red Sox World Series win.
