Food industry's newest trade show is set for April 4-6.
ProFood Tech, a new biennial event for the food and beverage industries, is set to debut in Chicago's McCormick Place on April 4-6. The event, hosted by PMMI, Anuga and IDFA, will feature a 150,000 nsf show floor with 400 exhibiting companies of all sizes. The 6,000 expected attendees will include corporate managers, engineers, sales managers, plant managers, manufacturers and production supervisors, brand and marketing managers, quality controllers, purchasers, research/development and package designers from a wide variety of consumer packaged goods companies (CPGs).
In addition to the trade show, organizers have developed a slate of conferences and educational sessions, Including a keynote address from retired NFL superstar Peyton Manning. Other sessions at ProFood Tech will include innovations in packaging and technology, the Food Safety Modernization Act, shopper loyalty in the virtual marketplace and implications of whole genome sequencing.
Other educational opportunities will be found throughout the show at the Innovation Stage and the Regulatory matters Stage.
Thanks to a cooperation agreement with the event organizers, registration for the inaugural ProFood Tech also includes admission to both the ProMat and Automate events being held April 3-6 at McCormick Place. ProMat is a material handling expo focusing on manufacturing and supply chain solutions. Automate showcases innovations and technologies in automation, including robotics, vision & imaging, motion control, metrology and more.
