A variety of wireless equipment supplied by Sennheiser was put to use at this year's JUNO Awards in Calgary, produced by Solotech. Performers, presenters, and crew on the main stage had Neumann and Sennheiser mies, receivers, and capsules at their disposal.
"We had over 150 coordinated frequencies throughout the venue," comments Scott Nickerson of RF Wireless, the main RF Engineer at the show. "With 100 per cent of the wireless mics and I EMs for the stage performance being Sennheiser, it was nice to see that the front-end filtering in the receiver was up to task. I didn't have a single issue during the show."
LiveWire Remote Recorders recently installed a 48-channel Solid State Logic C200 HD Mobile Console and two SSL C-SB Stageboxes into its mobile truck. The console is being used to record and supply live stereo and 5.1 mixes for broadcast productions throughout North America.
