Make, PRP Architects, Muf and Karakusevic Carson are understood to have won the first phase of the Olympic Park's redevelopment in London
Insiders say the Taylor Wimpey and L&Q-led team has been picked to design and build Chobham Manor - a new post-Games district on the Olympic Park which will include 800 homes.
The development between the Althetes' Village and Hopkins' Velodrome will feature traditional family neighbourhoods with terraced and mews houses, set within tree-lined avenues. In May, the AJ revealed Taylor Wimpey had teamed up with Muf and Karakusevic Carson on the bid and was also in discussions with NORD.
The developer bid was selected ahead of rival submissions by Barratt, which was working with Allies and Morrison, Maccreanor Lavington and Witherford Watson...
